“Great value”

“I stayed at the SpringHill Suites Orange Beach from April 2–5 and was very disappointed. Check-in was smooth and the staff were friendly, which I appreciated. However, the cleanliness was unacceptable. Our first room had stained sheets and duvets, a dirty shower curtain, unswept floors, and residue on the wall near the towel area. “The Lodge is a great beachfront property at the Gulf Shores. There is beach access, the Gulf Shores downtown is just 5 mins away and there are great restaurants on site. The customer service at this hotel Is excellent. All our requests incl microwave and cleaning were met promptly. ”

“it's a great place to stay- one of my complaints is the elevators are very slow. Also this time, we noticed that the coffee machines have been taken out of the rooms. So if you want coffee, you have to go to lobby and pay for it. ”

“Our room was very clean with newer updates. The shower did have a leaking door and some water damage to the wall. Beds were really comfortable, but bring your own pillow. The complementary breakfast was one of the best of any hotel we’ve stayed in. Fresh omelettes every morning. Location was perfect and in walking distance to many stores and restaurants. “The hotel is new, clean, and had nice amenities…however during our overnight stay we went to use the microwave in room and found it to be unplugged. Easy enough fix most of the time, but we found that the outlet was mostly obstructed by the cabinet and the cord could not be plugged in, the hole for the outlet was completely off. Just really odd that no one thought to fix that, or to even check that all appliances were operational in the few months the hotel has been opened. We reported to the...

“I had a terrible experience during my stay. I entend to inform corporate office of the incident. Approximately an hour after we check in, I went to the bathroom to remove my lipstick. I pulled a sheet of tissue from the dispenser and found it to be damp. I kept pulling sheets and the more I pulled the wetter they are. I looked indlside the tissue box cover and found a filthy wet underwear lodged inside between the box and the dispenser. The smell was so bad, I wanted to throw up! I was in shock...
